OUR STORY
OUR JOURNEY
Port Island Rentals began as a full-service real estate agency in the 1970s founded by The Hellers. It then passed to The Hellers' protege Kirk Goodhue in the 1990s. Now in 2024 the torch is passed again, this time to Marlena Crandall, an Island native whose family ties to the Peaks can be traced to its founding. Marlena's intimate connection with Peaks Island and love for the Island way of life are what drive our company today. With her two children always in tow, Marlena believes strongly in preserving Island life for future generations. Her extensive knowledge of Peaks and the Portland area ensures that we offer more than just a place to stay; we offer a gateway to a unique and memorable experience.
